A + H Urban Farm is a small, family farm practicing regenerative agriculture, synthetic free, organic farming in Oklahoma City, OK.

In order to be more effective at growing produce year round, A + H Urban Farm will use a loan from Steward to purchase new caterpillar tunnels, which will enable them to have more control over pests, weather, and irrigation use. They are looking to purchase 4-6 caterpillar tunnels that will cover 5,600-8,400 sq. ft. of growing space, enabling better production during the cold winters and hot summers of Oklahoma.
They will also use the loan funds to purchase a two-wheel tractor. Their current process is very hands-on and manual, so adding the tractor will free up some of their time and allow them to expand the business.

No-till using tarps to reduce weed and grass pressure.
Amy heard about us through The Thriving Farmer Podcast and it has been a pleasure to work with her on getting their project set up. The farm consistently sells out of products at a few of the local farmers markets and they're eager to ramp up their operations. We are confident that Amy and H.R. will continue to make improvements to their early stage farm and bring their farm to its maximum potential.
We’re excited to share that A+H Urban Farm is repaying their Steward loan in full today, January 10th. This early repayment is made possible by their farm's continued growth.
A+H Urban Farm has grown tremendously since receiving their Steward loan in 2020, as increased capital has greatly enhanced their ability to scale operations. Owner-operator Amy Reinke and her husband, H.R., are currently farming four acres of diverse vegetables and cut flowers and continue to sell directly to the public through local farmers markets. They have also partnered with a local food aggregator to bring their produce to various entities across the state, including grocery markets, restaurants, schools, and tribes.
A+H Urban Farm is looking forward to the future and continuing to grow their business. They pass along their sincere gratitude to Steward and their lenders for believing in their operation years ago and allowing them to pursue their dream.
