Overview

East Fork Cultivars is a craft hemp farm located in Southern Oregon’s Illinois River Valley, using sustainable, sun-grown farming methods to produce high-quality, genetically diverse, CBD-rich cultivars. East Fork maintains a resolute commitment to environmental responsibility, science-based education, and social justice.

Use of Funds

Short-term financing to extend East Fork's previous bridge loans for operating capital will allow East Fork Cultivars to meet their immediate financial needs on the farm while pursuing other forms of investment. This bridge loan will be used for the following:

  • Refinancing expiring short-term bridge loans from Steward that have provided East Fork's team with the liquidity they need to focus on growth.

  • Restructure initial investments in the business in order to pay out original friends and family lenders, and professionalize their capital mix.

Regenerative & Sustainable Practices

As one of the first USDA Certified Organic hemp farms in the U.S., East Fork Cultivars strives to protect natural resources and conserve biodiversity through the following methods:

  • Actively planting pollinator-friendly flowers to maintain healthy pollinator populations.

  • Retaining a portion of their farm in its natural wetland state to provide a thriving ecosystem for native wildlife.

  • Utilizing sungrown farming methods not only use less energy and enrich the soil, but also produce high-quality, genetically diverse, cultivars.
