We are a very small, certified naturally grown farm on leased land in South Atlanta. We grow intensively with minimal tillage practices. We grow 90% cut flowers with some tomatoes and carrots in summer and winter, respectively. We produce most of our own seedlings, but we also buy plugs when needed. We have no tractor and rarely use a tiller, instead preparing beds with hoes, rakes , and broad forks. A BCS 2-wheeled tractor is one of our next planned investments. We have 4 small (~14x36) homemade high tunnels, which we use to keep rain off of flowers and grow through the winter. We build soil by growing cover crops and adding compost.
